I hope this hasn't been hashed out here before, but I had a hard time finding answers in the archives, so...

I found a B. craniifer in with my dubias today. I keep the craniifer in a smaller Ball jar inside the dubia's enclosure (because I only have 12 craniifer and wanted them to get the benefit of some warmth), but it tipped a bit and a couple got out and into the dubias. Is this harmful for the dubias? Are either species going to tear each other apart?

Thanks everyone

I can only think of one roach species tearing another to pieces and that's niveas being eaten by something... I can't see them hurting eachother really though I'm pretty sure they can interbreed. You might have to watch your strains after this.

Thanks! The dubias are feeders, so anything that gets bred and is small will be eaten, which will take care of the problem of hybrids, not to mention I can spot and remove any adult death heads should it happen that I missed one. I think I found them all, though, along with the remains of a roach which I guess died and was eaten, hence the question. Thanks again!
