Anybody know where to find such a T in the states? They, seam pretty cool and all, getting both bigger and more vivid than Avicularia braunshauseni. ~ Rex
same here...yeah, i'm on the lookout for them aswell.
Can't help, but a caveat - it seems many of the A. amazonica in the hobby might be A. sp Peru instead, which are not the real McCoy...Anybody know where to find such a T in the states? They, seam pretty cool and all, getting both bigger and more vivid than Avicularia braunshauseni. ~ Rex
I agree. It is sad when somebody rips off people.Well pointed out Pinkfoot. I really hate to see the hobby ruined with mislabelling.
Right on. I had heard that also. I also read on some board that somebody was actually getting some of the Avicularia sp. Peru, purple. If I run across that thread again I will post a link to it, assuming that it was in the USA. If it is a USA person I wonder if they would be importing them since I have not heard of these in the USA as of yet?GoTerps said:AFAIK, all the "Amazonica" slings sold in the U.S. are the real deal.

The money grubber and the business person. Capitalism does have a lot of problems, but of course with boards like these hopefully many can get valuable pre sales information.AubZ said:Unfortunately you cannot stop it from happening. Too many ppl just wanna cash in.
