I hear you. If people weren't so quick to dismiss the familiar, these would be every bit a "hot" as any other Avic out there. Unfortunately, they've been in the hobby decades instead of years, breed readily, and can be had for $5 a pop as spiderlings. I heard that A. ulrichea, A. urticans and A. auratiaca are in fact the same species, but just different colorforms. This guy told me this was true because breeding those different "species" brought fertile spiderlings...
