ive read that it is ok to let them live together provided with plenty of space/ hides and same size animals...is this true or should i avoid it?
accually ive seen them in the same tank before. i think that they have to have the right attitude though because if you get one thats calm and another thats skittish the skittish one may attack the calm one. they should also be fed plenty of food.ive read that it is ok to let them live together provided with plenty of space/ hides and same size animals...is this true or should i avoid it?
What size were they when you introduced them? Were any together prior to the large set up?I recently set up an exhibit for the museum I work for that houses 25 Avic. avics. It's been about 2 months now and so far I've only had 1 fatality. I made it a point to introduce them all at the same time so that no one had set up any territories already and it seems to work just fine. I also make sure they are very well fed.
The enclosure size is 3'x2'x5'H
