Go ahead & call it an avic avic if you'd like.

From my understanding, what arach angel was getting at is that there are possibly so many avics out there that look like, that we may not have ID all of them correctly yet. So a normal "avic avic" could really be another avic species.

I'll still call my avic avic sling an avic avic.

regalis, Avic. metallica :?

I see nothing that would indicate anything other than what we've been calling Avicularia avicularia.

i think that it's an avicularia avicularia until a certified arachnologist tells me otherwise.

yea, i was wondering about mine a while back as well, but it seems they are very hard to distinguish, and just figured mine was a typical a avicularia. looked exactly like yours ;)

In my opinion it is more A. metallica as A. avicularia but I am far away to say it is a real A. metallica. But for me an A. avicularia looks different.
