I have a A. Braunshauseni that needs to move homes soon and am wondering what is the best way to do it. She has her web in the corner of the vertical standing 2.5 gal. aquarium so it isn't like I can just move the tree/cork bark with her still webbed in. She is skittish like all get out (more than normal for aboreals) and I'm not sure if I were to try it by hand that we'd make it. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

You could move her by hand, I recently moved my biceogi, and avicularia. They are easily my sweetest T's. With the biceogi I had to destroy her fortress of solitude (web tube) to acheive the move. Within a week in her new home, she started another tube and seems to have forgiven me for the demolition.

Good luck, and don't worry about deconstructing her home.:)

they might get stressed somewhat, but in the wild, there are always going to be constant changes in environment. don't worry, rehouse if needed.
