I had an avic as my first tee! Loved the guy and gave him a well-decorated enclosure. Named him Socks because of his pink toes. Sadly he was a male and died for natural reasons last year. Was an awesome first tee though.

Oooh, boy...I LOVE me some Avics! Pokies & Avics (as well as the "formerly avics) are the focus of my collection, now. I love em' all...their colours, their habits, their jovial little dispositions. There's a TON of awesome Ts out there, beautiful, & fascinating. But I have an affinity for my Avics..

I love their beauty, goofiness and those big feet. And there’s nothing more adorable than an Avic sling!

Lol seriously @viper69 ?
I've grown a serious interest in keeping all I can get. My back ground is in asian spider's and my first true go with Avics has been awesome and I want them all.

And lol @viper69 . Not that I'm swinging off your emboli, but you have giving me a stable and no bs platform to keep Avics. That's why I laughed when you said ok.

Asians are gorgeous! I’ve kept some and still do.

Glad you’re receiving good Avic info from AB!!

Nothing personal here, your post wasn’t informative in a manner to me that required a response beyond what I provided. There was no Q&A😉

Here’s your post in another way 🤣

Hey I love hamburgers, I’ve never eaten one, but all you hamburger lovers come here to my post.

Me:

No, we followed your directions to a T good sir.

You summoned Avic lovers and we arrived, mingled, and made some jokes while waiting for further instructions or inquiries.

😆

I see my passions are too abstract for some...
:p
It’s ok ✅ I’m a fan of species I never owned like t blondi, etc .
Avics got me into the hobby so they’re always a favorite of mine although I don’t currently have any. Old age took my last one around 5 years ago or so bought as an adult. I had a versi, diversipes once too.
Amazing species ! I mostly keep terrestrials now.

Here comes my first selfquote. It was directed at viper69 ;)

To maybee clarify my intentions... a befriended breeder of mine offered me a trade for some of my Aphonopelma for two Avics and a T. Ockerti.
And now the little Avics are crawling through my mind...

You might get a different answer for each person who responds. some prefer Terrestrial some arboreal. And some both. Most have the catch them all mentality. :D  :artist::jimlad:
I’ve never traded Ts for other Ts before.
Some would account rarity also.
