Avic Avic is webbing on the ground?

I’ve had her for 2 years and she was probably a young adult when I got her. She had a smaller enclosure and her web was on the ground but I figured it was because I needed to do a better job putting hiding places and places to anchor a web up high. I gave her plenty of space behind those plants in each corner and she is still choosing the ground. Is she just a weirdo or is something wrong?

Maybe she is looking for a bit of humidity. She weebed right next to the water dish.

Your enclosure has a lot of ventilation and volume, so I'd add a bit of moisture in the substrate if your house climatic conditions are dry, if not she could be exposed to that air very fast.

I’ve had a few that pick ground despite having a web cloud above.

They ultimately will web where they want to even where we give them all the spots we think they’d use. All good.
