Hey folks, other than adult females, which I'd imagine don't grow as much, what are the average growth rates for T's after a molt? I've finally gotten to see my C. fimbriatus, and it's HUGE compared to the shed exuvia. I'd say almost double the size, seriously. My B. smithi on the other hand, seems to have gained maybe another half inch to the 3 she had before. What are your experiences with this?

I have come to the conlusion that it all comes down to the species. My B smithi molted all the time and I barely noticed a difference in its size. But, when Avis molt they grow considerably. My L parahybana, and my H maculata grow like weeds every molt.

My A.geniculata molted and went from 3" to 4+"....and my adult female b.smithi molted and the only way id be able to tell if she grew would be with a very very accurate ruler hehe, hardly grew at all, maybe 1/4".

I think species that live a long time are going to grow a lot slower. Males are also known for growing a lot faster also.
