Question Auto-watching galleries?

Every time I upload a picture to any gallery, I'm automatically notified whenever a new picture is uploaded to that gallery. I know that I can just go in and unwatch the category, but is there a way to turn this off by default?

This happens whether I post from my phone or my two computers.

Go to your account preferences and uncheck "Automatically watch categories that you add media to.."
