Aspen or Eco Earth?

Hey all, just got my first Corn and was wondering if I could use Eco Earth or go and get some Aspen bedding? I keep Ts so I have plenty of coco fiber around. Thanks!

You could use Eco-Earth, but shredded aspen is a much preferable substrate.

I would definitely go with the aspen.

My suggestion beforehand:
Use paper towels for a couple days just to make sure he/she doesn't have any mites...

yea ive got my king in eco earth, she seems to enjoy it/not mind it.

I use aspen for my snakes unless I have problems with humidity.

JTC, I still prefer newspaper, but that's just me. I keep my Cal King on it.

Great choice. I like aspen for its absorbent properties as well. I've used it for years and never had a problem.

Newspaper is great too but I like to watch my king make little burrows in the aspen When I open the lid, his head pops up out of the shavings in random places.

I went with Aspen and my little Corn does the same,pops his head up every now and then. It is fun to watch.
