Ask better substrate for C. darlingi and P. murinus

Hi, i wont to ask some question
Can i use exoterra desert sand mix with cocopeat for C. darlingi and P. murinus substrate? Because i've seen they life in dry area. If its not, what i can use for substrate? Thanks

Sand is almost never good for tarantulas, I'd never use it. Just use cocfibre/cocopeat

You can use straight cocopeat/ecoearth.
Sand, MIGHT, enter the book lungs and cause problems.
With 17 species of obligate burrowers, I use topsoil, $1.49 for a 1 liter bag. Much cheaper and a natural substrate, IMO/IME.

Edit: not 1 liter bag should have been 1 cubic foot bag. Lack of sleep, more than likely. Lol!
