my dad is finally letting me get a scorpion an Asian Forest scorpling, it is going to be my brothers David, he will soon have an account here as well! Any input for my bro? housing, diet, ect? Thanks,

P.S- Any pics of them as scorplings?

My (former) roommate had three of these at about an inch long each. They need to be kept on very moist soil, or they will dry up and die like his did. Other than that, I'm sure someone here can give you much better advice.

You can keep them the same as you wound an emperor scorpion. See this care sheet for the emperor but you and change the upper end temperature to 90F...actually same goes for the emperor.

I personally would recomment the peat as the substrate as it holds the moisture fairly well and will have low instances of mold as the peat is acidic which discourages mold growth. Also my H.spinifer burrow well in it.

It's a 20 long tank which I have a plexiglass cover underneath the screen top that covers most of it other than where the light is. This keeps the humidity and temp up with only a 60w bulb in the winter.
