So my heterometrus gave birth around 7 days ago. While I was gone at my dads house my family made the executive decision to move her heat pads under the tank instead if where I had them on the side. She already has dug too close to the bottom, so I was afraid the heat pad being there was bad, and moved it back when I got home. Shes not moving much, usually she’s very reactive to movements. Is this just normal after a while of having the babies or is something wrong?

Tbh not much you can do but make sure her enclosure is set up properly and offer prekilled prey from time to time and always have water available.
Many scorps seem to become less active and not eat when they have babies

I agree with the above comment. Keep her at the right temp and humidity and dont mess with her to much. If she starts feeling stressed she may eat the babies. After a couple weeks the babies will molt and climb off moms back. Remove them and rehouse them at that point.
