yes, the H minax is now very common in the hobby, and another sp.of this genus is the Haplopelma lividum (cobalt blue) both has the same attitude & aggressive temperament but are a very intersting T's.I saw one in a dull black and white photo in a book Haplopelma minax was its scientific name. Are they common in the hobby?

Wow that T is gorgeous David! I really need to get so Haplos again.This was sold to me as a H.minax. It was from someone reliable, and more knowledgable. But you never know. I've had her from a tiny sling.

They are obliagte burrowers and you will almost never see them, but they are worth having.I gots to get back into the tarantula hobby. Are these terrestial or arboreal?
