Hi everyone. For the past couple days, will continue to stand with its hind legs fully extended. The tail is always off to one side. It will only do this in the open and I’m just wondering why this is happening. I had a cup in the enclosure with crickets and they managed to jump over the edge and my ASF ate them all. There were 5 and it ate 4 I’m a couple of days. Uhhhh could that be a reason?

It sounds like what is known as stilting. It is a natural behaviour but why scorpions do it is unknown. Some say it is a result of having the wrong substrate, or having the substrate too wet, but they do it in nature too. Personally I haven't observed any correlation between substrate and stilting, it's just something they do.
