Argiope lobata

I was going to post asking someone to identify this spider.
While waiting for my account to be activated I discovered
its identity.I'll share the photo anyway.
It was in the Almeria region of Spain.

Well I had no means of measuring it but i'd
estimate 3.5" side to side and top to bottom.
Felt rather sorry for her man.

i forget the genus (Argiope?) but i think the species name might be lobata


lol, dang is the name really in the title? apparently my morning coffee is more important than i realized.
