Argiope aurantia

I have several of these in my yard. And they are laying egg sacs all over ... I may have to bring one inside after mom dies...
does anyone keep these indoors?

i keep an A. argentata, if that helps.

I kept one indoors. I put it in a cabinet with sliding glass doors and enclosed it until she made her web. After that, I opened the glass door and she stayed in her web until she laid her eggs. Then she kinda wandered around the house and built random webs. She disappeared shortly after that.

She was really neat to keep around. I think I enjoyed her more than any tarantula I've kept.

I don't have any pics of the one I kept. Come to think of it... I haven't even seen any this year.

Thank you. I thought it looked different than an aurantia, but I don't really know enough to say either way.

Pretty damn sure the one I kept was an aurantia though.
