Lately I have been informed of many people sort of "scammed" when trying to buy Theraphosa blondi.
I know this is sort of old news, but since many newbies and not that newbies keep getting "tricked" with this transactions, let me clearify a couple of things for you guys since I have been looking for this specie for quite a long time.
Right now, in the known hobby (of course, there should be people out there who neither responded to my offers, or didnt read them) there are literally a handfull of people who has true Theraphosa blondi (subadult/adults).
Again, Im sure there are other enthusiast in the US with this specie, but they are not around the boards or at least dont seem to be interested in getting rid of them.
I have offered myself almost $1000 for an adult female, so believe me when I tell you that they are not around.
ALWAYS ask for pictures prior buying any Theraphosa. 99% of the times they are not what people says they are. Sometimes because of truly ignorance, some others because money is sweet.
