Are male or female scorpions better fighters?

Females are heavier than males on average, so they have the weight advantage. But males have longer tails and larger pincers, so their weapons work better. Which sex is generally better able to subdue prey/defend themselves/kill other scorpions?

I'd say the female in overall ability to capture prey. From what I have seen, almost every "bug fight" ends up the bug that overpowered the other ended up winning. With the female's size, it can easily hold and eat a roach if it needs to. Since males are lighter and skinnier, they may not be able to catch and hold down large, feisty prey. Could even be overpowered itself and eaten. Same goes for scorp vs scorp. It's like in a boxing match. I'd bet on the 300 lb guy vs the 150 lb guy with a reach :D Just me though ;)

I would say males have more practice at defense and aggression due to simple biology and how they are programmed.

Seems like with tarantulas the female always gets the upper hand often eating their mate.
