So i rehoused my G. aureostriata, Golden knee.. and ever since he/she's been sitting at the top of the enclosure, not once touching the ground since being placed inside.

why is this? picture:

(note: i dont leave it by the window, it does'nt get direct sunlight.. just put it there for the lighting)

Is the substrate moist at all? Grammostola spp. tend to have a problem with that.

If I were you I would add more dirt, a fall like that could possibly kill the T.

No problem. That's why your T is climbing because it's moist. Add more dirt and let it dry out and it'll be good to go.

agreed with every other statement already. the ground is probably too wet, thus the T climbs to avoid that. when the ground dries out, she'll probably be down there terra-forming the enclosure.

My lot climb for a day or so after they've been rehoused, to settle in i guess.

Once the subby is dry she'll feel a lot more comfortable.. fussy lil things!
