If she's eating that much, think about upgrading to weanling rats once a week. (depending on the size mouse) Looking at her size, I would go with pups.

My opinion, try pups first, and if that doesn't do it, upgrade to weanlings. My humble opinion only. Rats do seem to be more nutritious than mice.

Nice snake you got there, and yeah, I agree with the other guys on trying rats.

I dont know about that because what she has their is a Pinkie or fuzzy not even the size of full grown mice so i thing a rat would be too big...It is only Half an inch around and two feet long rihgt now

I have a Coastal about the same size as yours and she eats 2 almost full grown mice every 7 days. She has no problem at all eating them.
Here is a pic.

Ditto what the others have said about upping the food size for the Carpet.....Carpets can take massive meals compared to their body size, and as long as they have access to proper heat, they will never regurge even the biggest of meals.

another thing is that snakes can eat something equal to their girth. so if what your feeding comes off smaller then the snake... upgrade :) I've pretty much always followed that rule with my king

also thats one beautiful carpet.

thats is a good looking carpet python aracnophiliac, i have a seven foot male carpet python with exactly the same markings, although he has a bit more yellow in his colouration than yours does and i agree with everyone else you should up the food size, i would try full grown mice, my male is on one jumbo rat every week, and i know he would have no probs eating something a bit bigger, great snake though, out off all the markings that is my favourite

Well...if you are concerned about food size, start off with rat fuzzies. Your carpet should be more than big enough for that. And, I would say within a week or two, she'll be ready for the pups, and then weanlings before you know it. As scorpio has pointed out, your carpet will be eating rats long-term, so it is best to switch her now (not that carpets have a reputation for being difficult to switch, but rats do have a reputation for being better meal items [more nutritious (though, I haven't found "real" evidence on that)] when offered the choice). And, it is always best to feed one meal item over two or three meal items. I do think my snakes appear healthier now that I've switched everybody to rats from mice a little over a year ago.

I remember when my Honduran milksnake was eating fuzzy mice, I was told she'd never outgrow an adult mouse...well, now she eats one small rat every week, and weighs in at 1040 grams...not even full grown (average honduran weight is 1300 grams). So, I don't think keeping her on mice would do much for her.

He looks pretty happy to be completing his meal! lol. I love how they look like they are smiling while they swallow. :)
