There is the ATS - American Tarantula Society as well the BTS - British Tarantula Society

I guess not sure but those are the official organizations and I and many here are members as well can you can for a nominal fee each year.

As for general information sites there are a few but Arachoboards to me is the most used on a daily basis. Use google perhaps?
