How do I find out when and where there will be arachnid shows near me?

i don't know of any arachnid shows other than the ATS show in carlsbad.....
but most reptile shows have some arachnid dealers...

if you go to www.kingsnake.com, they have a pretty comprehensive listing of national shows...

yeah I agree! come to cali! I want to go to an arachnid show sometime. I would say check the IRBA site, I have checked it before but it's been a while and I have to do a search to find the url, so that is the best I can tell you.

last year @ university in Pomona they had an insect fair. it is usually in oct.

last summer @ the L.A. County Natural History Museum they had an insect fair, don't know if it is a yearly thing or not.
