I'm pretty sure she is a she. I can't really tell ventrally, and this is the first exuvium to come out of my collection, so I've not sexed a T first hand yet. I looked through tons of photos showing the difference, and as I said I am almost positive that it is female, but I'd like a second opinion. (Sorry for the poor quality) Also, she's been super active for the first time in weeks, so I took her out to play a bit. She's definately my favorite so far. :)

Thanks for the replies, guys. I was pretty sure she was a she, but it's good to get another perspective to affirm it.

Mine is the only one I've encountered of this species in person, and she is calm as a cucumber. She even lets me cup her and pet her fangs. She is by far the most docile T I've ever seen. I would handle her over any of my other Ts any day, even my G. rosea (she's a nut) Funny how Ts take on individual personalities rather than falling into generalized temperament across an entire species. Too bad yours aren't more docile. Unless of course handling isn't your thing, then I guess it's no biggy.

She is beautiful! Not so sure I'd get too comfy petting her fangs though. :}

Thanks! Get one for sure :)

Yeah she's gorgeous. That picture honestly doesn't do her justice. When I bought her, she was pretty, but what I didn't know is that she was pre-molt and her colors weren't nearly as rich as post molt. Her legs went from plain blonde to almost strawberry and the darker greys in her legs got super dark black and charcoalish at the feet. Plus, the bristles on her abdomen finally showed me why they call it a Rust Rump :)
