i have been dealing with ts for a while now of and on for about 9 years but i have just now recently wanted to breed some .so i decided to go with these guys Aphonopelma schmidti . the female is a lil shy but totaly unagressive ,but my male is dont know about he is like lighting fast when ever i try to feed him he darts to the top of the tank with tremendous speed its like lighting now i dont know if this is natural for his species or not i dont think he is agressive becouse i held him when i first purchased him. i would just like to know if this is natural when they are about to be bred?

Most of the Aphonopelma males I come across are very fast and skittish. They only slow down near death. One actually tagged me at Arachnocon when I was showing it to Terri (MizM). They amaze me everytime.
