Created a light box today. Took pictures of a few Aphonos, but “Alucard” had special pictures.

Little man is starting to fade, so these are his last senior pictures. He’s a good boy, who will hopefully live on through his children!

Beautiful. Reminds me of the last days of my A. chalchodes MM. Always a sad time. At least your giving him a good memoriam. Did he get to breed?

Hope my immature female A. hentzi is a fraction as beautiful as an adult. Really can't say enough how underrated this species is, especially for how common they are.

Incredible shots ! Indeed, their earthy tones are an acquired taste. I would absolutely go for one of these beauties, but they are rarely available up here, like most Aphonopelma. Love the name, very fitting for this handsome man. SOTN fan, no doubt ? ;) Fantastic game, haven't played it in years, though.
