Has anyone seen this species show up in the hobby? Would love to have one of these.

Its strange. I never see these either, and I live in the southwest. You would think that stores here would be full of these...I can't even get my hands on an A. chalcodes, anax, or hentzi - let alone all these new species.

I can't speak for the southwest but as for the sourheast you had better not get caught collecting fauna in a state park . The fines are outrageous . I assume that is the same everywhere.Yes, Aphonopelma are deplorably hard to find, I've already discovered. Apparently it's because most of their habitats are in national/state parks and are automatically protected from collection? At least, that's what I hear.
