Wolf spider. We need a better picture to ID further.

@MJDurrant Just take a close look at the head. You should be seeing two eyes way back on the head that are slightly facing backwards. This is your rough rule in IDing all wolf spiders, lycosids

Need help with ID of another arachnid species found by my moth trap during a session on 5th.March 2021 at same site as usual in oasis in semi desert area of Almeria province S.Spain

Wolf spider sling, I would guess Lycosa sp.

You are lucky. I have only found one wolf spider in my back yard and one up in the mountains.
