I have some eastern fence lizards that live around my garage. I have been trying to catch one to keep as a pet, and would be to heard any care tips you may have. Mainly i'm looking for enclosure set-up tips, but any tip is welcomed

In my opinion having them live on your property is better than keeping them captive.
Enjoy them where they are...they will take much better care of themselves there then you can care for them in an enclosure in your home.

Just think of your yards as a giant enclosure. Enjoy them in the wild, they are much more enjoyable there and happier.

I do that with most of the animals around here (i.e. rabbits, rat snakes, garter snake, american toads, skinks, so on and so on) But with the fence lizards the problem is that i only see one like once a week, and then only for a few seconds.
