Got back into the hobby earlier this month, and would love to start a photojournal to help document the individuals/species I own.

The last of my 𝘗𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘶𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘴 (C) molted yesterday, however, it molted right side up and ‘gave up’ halfway through. Helped the legs and abdomen out of the molt using a moistened paintbrush, Qtip, and small pair of tweezers. Although it doesn’t have complete and normal function of it’s legs, it’s able to move around by dragging itself of sorts. Thankfully the sucking stomach molted out fine and hopefully by next molt it’ll be fine.

Same spider, in two different lights. On the last two photos, you, can see the purple-blue carapace pattern starting to come out. Pretty distinct from the other ‘groups’ of Ecuadorian 𝘗𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘶𝘴.
