Ant? Wasp? What is this?

Found this little critter in the greenhouse today. First thought was that it was a parasitic wasp after some of my ootheca, but I'm not sure.
Found in California.

Solitary wasp of some kind. Most likely a burrower that, hunts spiders or crickets.

Looks like a Spechidae to me. Thread wasted wasp.
