Another underside sexing query

This is the underside of the A. versi I posted in the "Future of the hobby" thread. Due to it's molt shredding tendency, I've been unable to sex it yet. The pictures aren't the best, but they're the best I could come up with. So, what do you think? Male or female?

My inclination is to say female. My versi around the same size as yours and I think it's a male. The slit is shorter and there's none of the epigynal plate development/sclerotisation I think you can see on your pics.

To tell you the truth ,you really need a magnifying glass
to be acurate.
J.P version 1.0 And I are pretty good at sexing that way,but for most you need the glass.

I've heard Avic's are hard to sex using this method, but it looks female to me.

Well thanks guys. I don't feel quite so bad about not being able to tell on my own now. I hope the consensus is correct. I've got enough young ones to be sure of a male for her.
