another male

It's happening again....I seem to have an ongoing problem in picking males....
I posted my recently mature C fasciatum in the invertsonals.... I'm adding him to my growing list of males.... :'(
So far, I also have these immature males:
P regalis
P fasciata
G areostriatum
G rosea
A seemanni
A hentzi
Aphonopelma sp (Cuervavaca)
A geniculata

What a bummer!!!!

Just think of the all spiderlings you may get from them.;) I don't let it bother me when I get males, I just look twice as hard for adult females.

i know what you mean... i've gotten rid of a male usambara and a P. cambridgei in the last 2 weeks....

oh well... hopefully at least one of those 50/50 will come through....

i want your male regalis :)

Just wondering, but in your experience are males generally calmer and more docile? All the ones i've had have been

Deifiler...I don't know that they are calmer, but they don't seem to be as defensive as their female counterparts IME.
For some reason, I'm not nearly as frightened of male Usambaras, for instance, as I am of the females...
Don't ask me why!

My P. cambridgei turned into satan from an angel when it matured male...
just my experiance... the usambara was no different.

I don't know what he was like before, but he is "rough and tough and all that stuff" now! I was scared for my female! :eek:
