One of my Scolopendra sp. "Chinese Tigerleg" is in the process of laying her eggs as I type this. I'll post a few pictures later, right now I'm still reeling from surprise. Almost unbelievable.
Yeah, six clutches and they were all laid around the same time as mine. It's almost as if this species has a strict, rigid timeframe hard-wired into them when it comes to egglaying. Maybe it has something to do with the possibility of parthenogenesis?
