Hmmm...sold as A. australis *lol*. It is A. amoreuxi. The last caudal segments are not as darkened as any of the A. australis subspecies I have seen. The tergite on your's also has a smooth appearance, whereas the A. australis does not.

I'd like to second Mr. edw

This kind of thing happens all the time--esp with those species.

From my experience, there's no way that's an A. australis

Please don't refer to me as Mr. edw. It makes me think of Mr. Ed, the talking horse from the TV show or just some old dude. I'm not old...not for at least 30 more years. *lol* I'm only kidding, but you can can call me edward.
