I have a little background w/ tarantulas and my little brother caught this and told me he had caught a T, but it dont look like any t I've ever seen so I thought someone here might know, BTW it was caught in malad ID. just over the utah border. LMK if any of you are familiar w/ this spider, also he says they are a little bit larger than a silver dollar if that helps, Thanks B.

look more like a lycosid to me. pictures could be a bit larger and more zoomed in.

I know but that is all he sent me from Id., I kinda thought it looked like a wolf too, he said it laid an egg sac and it was attached to its abdomen by a thread of web do wolf spiders do that?

yeah, that´s exactly what wolfes do, attach it to their spinnerets.

no doubt. that is a wolf. ive seen em before and thats definataley one. hope that helps:D
