Amblypygid Hanging Upside-Down?

So within just the past few nights, my male D. Medius has been walking upside-down beneath the lid to his terrarium. The cork bark peaks near the top, so it's not precariously searching for a foothold, but I'm just curious as to why he's developed this new habit. I only noticed because normally that corner of my room is quiet, then all of a sudden I'm hearing the tiny grab and scratch of little hooks on the mesh wire. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

My G. pulchripes has done that at night, usually after a rehousing. I call it dancing on the ceiling. I have a picture but i caught it under a disturbingly bright red light. At least for humans.

Thanks for the responses. I appreciate the help and insight. The male is always doing something dramatic, where as the female you could set a watch to her habits.
