8/10 I give this book.
Lots of great pictures and drawings, but some of the information is slightly inaccurate (Chilean red leg spider comes to mind, as well as 'taking the hairs off and flinging them'). It's oriented towards young children, and it does a great deal in very short sentences to explain the differences between tarantulas and true spiders, basic anatomy, living and eating habits, and debunking a few myths. A nice little book, for your young spider lover, but don't try to see it as much more than that..
