The weather today was perfect, so I went over to my friend Eric Favez's house and we wrangled some of his spiders outside for a photo shoot...heres what I came away with:

Green Bottle Blue (Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens):





Mexican Painted (Brachypelma emilia):




Mexican Red Knee (Brachypelma smithi):

AWesome pics!

Is that still the Canon Powershot S3 IS? How did you get so close to the eyes, I have trouble doing that. Do you use any attachments?

Is that still the Canon Powershot S3 IS? How did you get so close to the eyes, I have trouble doing that. Do you use any attachments?
Yup, still the S3 IS....all I did was use super macro mode in natural sunlight, no attachments.

You definately have better camera skills then I do.

I'll try to take my next pics in natural sunlight as well.
