Last night, while doing the rounds in the bug room, I decided to peek under the cork bark in my feathertail cage as I hadn't seen the beast for awhile. She (now I know it's a she!) was clutching eggs! I hope I didn't disturb her so much that she eats them...

I know there were many babies on the market a year or so ago...anybody know how they're doing? Any tips on raising these guys in case I get lucky and they hatch?

alipes eggs

i have just recently had a clutch from my alipes sp i ended up with 38 babies they take about 30 days to hatch then about 30 days after that they start to molt and disperse from the mother they will eat pinhead crickets and fruit flies. DONT TRY TO FED THE MOTHER WHILE SHE HAS EGGS AS SHE WILL DEFINETLY EAT THEM
past experience! im keeping mine with about 90-100% humidity and sure far have only lost 1 there is more info if you go back in this forum 100 days

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Probably, the presence of live prey is stressful resulting in the eggs being eaten.
