Aging centipedes?

is there any way to estimate a centipedes age? I’m planning on an AZ collecting trip and if i find any large specimens I’m curious if i can try to estimate age.

Count the rings on it!

In all serious, no, not really. Size is the best estimate but that won’t really tell you age.

Yeah with size, you can basically only tell "at least" how old the pede is.
