My female molted about 4 weeks ago after 2 weeks she started eating. Have given her anything she wants. Male hooked out 3 weeks ago. But he is still in his burrow. Not eating but drinks when I drop some for him. Is it possible for a mature male, to make the spermwebb inside burrow? Its still sealed up. How long does mm OBT have? Dont understand why he doesnt Come out?

Yes, he can totally make a sperm web in there.
How long does mm OBT have?
It depends. Most people like the MM they order to be as fresh as possible so they have as much time to try pairing as then can. Usually males will last a number of months and on occasion a year or more.
Dont understand why he doesnt Come out?
He could be still good on food etc from before the molt. He will come out when he needs to.

It's hard to tell if your male is mature or not without being able to see his pedipalps. If he does come out and you can get us a shot of them we can help you figure it out. I would worry too much, if he is mature, you should still have plenty of time to try and pair them.

Good luck.

I've heard obt males live around the shortest of any MM.

Never had a male, so I don't know first hand.

I don't know about any MM, but they certainly have the shortest life out of any that I've kept. I've had three MM P. murinus' - the oldest died four months after maturing, the youngest died one month after maturing.

Thx guys. I think im just getting nervous. Im sure he will come out when he is ready. 100% sure he is mature, i have seen his hooks clearly. I thought mature males where more restless, or exited to find a female. But he is so content in there. Driving me nuts.
