Hello! This is my first post on this section, I want to start keeping scorpions. I have experience in keeping tarantulas (right now, I'm starting with OW with a C. darlingi) and I want to buy some C. gracilis (because they are the only ones available in Mexico City at the moment and I like the species a lot). What can you advise me?

Centruroides gracilis is a great beginner species. Use long enough tweezers, keep them humid, fairly warm and provide some vertical surfaces and hiding spots.

This is true. The risk is small with adults of this species, but it is always there.
I always mention it because most of the time Centruroides spp. do get along without any major issues but it could happen and for a new keeper it could be quite the unpleasant surprise.

I still remember the day one of my beloved Pandinus imperators vanished from a communal setup. It wasn't until a year or more later during a rehouse that I discovered the remains.
