I have a pair of AFS( labeled H. Longimanus but unsure) a male and a female that are close to the same size with the male being slightly larger. They seem to have no interest in mating, they tail wag at each other but never seal the deal. So I'm beginning to wonder if they are sub adults and was wondering if anyone could confirm. They are both wildcaught as well so I don't know the age. Both approx 4 inches long.

I'm the last person. The to take this too serious from. But at a glance it doesn't look like other longimanus. The males looks super skinny in Google pics. And most of them have a red tipped tail. But again I may have no clue wtf I'm talking about

Either H. petersii or H. laoticus, would need clear pictures of the chela, carapace, 5th metasomal segment, and (if possible) pectines to confirm the ID.

Judging by smoothness and shape of the chelae, I think it's petersii.

I'd go take some more photos but I'd rather not sit her up. Any ideas on the subdult/Adult issue? Thanks yall for the identification
