The local pet show was yesterday (and of course I bought tarantulas) but I also bought a uromastyx .:p
Nice change from the firey animals I usually buy, quite docile and friendly :wall:

Pictures to follow soon..

Who else has these things? I'm curious how you house them... so post your pics please:)

I love those things; by far my favorite uro. If I ever get one, it'll be an Egyptian.

 I swear, Michelle, "Monster" looks JUST like a dinosaur of some type.

I admit I know nothing of these creatures, other than I admire them greatly when I see them somewhere.

Marcie, congrats on your new purchase. Watcha gonna name him/her? :)

Hey Wendy :)

His name is "Igor"

My son and I looked at him for days...that name just seemed to fit :D

As far as housing goes I can tell you that the bigger the tank the better. The minimum I would recommend for an adult would be a 55 gallon. I have mine in a 30 or 40 gallon but he is still pretty small and I need to get him a bigger tank. Sorry I can't post any pics of my setup :8o . Though it's nothing too special. Anyway congrats on your new uro
