You missed the fact that the male has the same aposematic colors as the female but has a more rad sleek body style. What are they mimicking to not be eaten? Just the aposematism with no affect? The matte black and that coloration is bonkers!

As far as I know, they aren't mimicking anything, merely using their bright coloration to deter predators should their camouflage fail.
