modelling potential places where they can be found, is a suitable tool. But honestly, they are everywhere along in the more southern states along the volcanic line along the coast. No need to specify it more in detail for you.
You mean in Mexico, right? I know the range in Mexico, I was more wondering if the northern terminus makes it into the US.

As regards the paper, I was looking for microhabitat preferences. Since I've never been somewhere with whipspiders before, I wasn't sure if I should look under logs and rocks or on trees or what.
