Acanthophrynus coronatus info tailess whip scorpion

Acanthophrynus coronatus i read to be one of the largest amblypygid with a body of 3 inch! and eats small lizards, mice and arachnids . whip to leg span can reach 20 inch.how much of this is true? are they in the hobby ?i would love as much info on these guys thanks in advance

3.5 inch bodylenght is a bit exgaterated, it's only a tad less....They are one of the largest and those leg spans can reach those proportions yes.
I know only one person who keeps these, user Banshee.....can't help further....I suspect they are in the US/ mexican hobby......

Hi,
this is of course the biggest species in bodylength, in mass and the most impressive species i have ever seen. BUT in legspan some Heterophrynus are bigger.
The bodylength of A.coronatus can reach 55mm (without palps).
No study on their diet was ever done, but i would guess that they are able to catch and eat lizards, etc.
