Acanthogonatus photo thread

I just love these reddish-brown spiders with gold flecks. Large spiders with healthy appetities and lots of webbing. I am taking pictures of mine and just took some very clear pictures of a pissii that didn't survive shipping last week, but made for a great photo subject.

I would like to submit these pictures but there is not a thread for these spiders. They aren't really tarantulas, but they are also not true spiders either. Could a mod create a thread in the appropriate place, pretty please? I expect there would be comment of it not being in the correct category regardless of where I put it. :bruised:

Acanthogonatus would fall under the category of "other arachnids."

Here are pics of an Acanthogonatus pissii that died during transit. I decided turn the lemons into lemonade and got a very well-behaved subject for photo-documentation.
